Police have besieged Firebase house, where Bobi Wine’s studio and other youth enterprises are located in Kamwokya.

Police say they suspect that some protestors are hiding inside the building, following a protest by the residents earlier this morning.

Residents burnt tyres and blocked the road, demanding the release of Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi, who was arrested on Monday, after his driver Yasiin Kawuma was shot dead in Arua.

Police fired teargas and rubber bullets to disperse the protestors.

The operation, led by Resident Police Commander for Kampala East Musani Sabbira Micheal, has seen over six children escape from the building in tears, due to teargas.
