Police say Mathias Kasambu who was reportedly driving the car was arrested and is being held at Kabalagala Police Station.
Eye witnesses blamed the accident on the driver of White’s car.
Relatives opened up a case at Kabalagala Police Station where the Range Rover spot which reportedly caused the accident and the motorcycle were impounded.
“He was driving a range rover, He will be arraigned in court and charged with reckless driving causing death, as soon as investigations are complete,” said Kampala Metropolitan spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigire.
The deceased’s friends have tasked police to explain why the socialite moves around with security personnel including UPDF officers, a police escort car and drives recklessly with impunity yet he’s not a high profile public servant or politician.
The accident comes just weeks after the socialite was cleared of attempted murder charges by court when he allegedly shot one Victor Bitwire outside his Munyonyo home. They settled the case out of court.
