The Miss Pearl Grand Finale is happening tomorrow evening at Golf Course Hotel starting at 7pm. Expect glitz and entertainment, artistes, performances, beauty queens from different parts of the region and an experience like never before. Entrance is 30k ordinary, 100k VIP and 500k tables.
Nkorefest @ Uganda Museum
The ‘Nkorefest’ aimed to preserve and celebrate the Ankole culture and heritage in Kampala is happening this Sunday at the Uganda Museum. This year’s fest will have activities such as folk storytelling, art exhibition, games and motivational talks from established and successful people in different spheres, performances from Banyankore artistes, comedians and many more. Festival starts at 10am and entrance is 5k children and 10k adults.
The Kabaka birthday run @ Lubiri Mengo
The annual Kabaka birthday run is on this Sunday at Lubiri, Mengo starting 6am until midday. Registration is 10k and this year’s run is aimed at raising funds to chase sickle cell out of Uganda. Come run for a cause and celebrate the Kabaka’s forthcoming birthday happening soon.
Alcohol free weekend “FUN PARTY” @ Mulago Guest house
In a bid to fight alcohol consumption in teenagers, an event dubbed ‘Alcohol free weekend fun party’ has been organised tomorrow evening starting at 5pm at the Mulago Guesthouse. There will be lots of music, poetry, games and drinks and this is all aimed at increasing awareness on alcohol consumption, alcoholism and its abuse. Entrance is free.
Boss Baes and Black bottles party @ Sky Beach
Cindy and Ykee Benda will be headlining the ‘Boss Baes and Black Bottles’ party tomorrow at Sky Beach Freedom City. The event will feature DJ Pito, Damze and Micky. Entrance is 20k, 500k for a table of five and Shs1m for a table of 10. Dress code is black and white.

Afri Talent presents a play titled Enninga Ku Lwazzi this weekend (Saturday and Sunday) for two shows; 3pm and 7pm. Do not miss your favourite stars Abbey Mukiibi, Wycliff Luyombya and John Segawa among others. Entrance is 20k per show.
“Ebonies Tuesday music tantal” at Theatre Labonita
Catch the Ebonies live at Theatre Labonita next Tuesday for the ‘Ebonies Music Tantal starting at 7pm as they perform music by legends Jimmy Katumba, Philly Bongole Lutaya and others as well as their own compositions. Entry fee is Shs10,000 (downstairs) and Shs15,000 (upstairs).
The Stage Coach Auditions @ National Theatre
The Pearl Rhythm Stage Coach Season 4 auditions are happening on Monday at National Theatre and this is a call for live authentic performing artistes. They are looking for people with great voices, instrumentalists, skilled in rap or hip hop, among other skills. Show is free and will be starting at 10am.
