Every man wants to be the new Cranes coach and every woman wants to be with him.
Barely two days after being unveiled as Cranes’ new coach, Sebastien Desabre, has become a household name among Ugandan women who say they want a piece of him.

Desabre was on Wednesday unveiled as the new Cranes head coach, replacing the Serbian Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic, who left in July 2017 to go coach the Orlando Pirates Footbal Club, in South Africa.
But just hours after he addressed journalists in Kampala, his photos went viral on social media with several women especially in the capital Kampala declaring their undying love for him.

A number of them say they have decided to enrol for French classes just to impress the 41-year-old Frenchman.
The disease has spread so fast that most of them (women) say they will start attending Crane’s drills just to catch his eye, even though they have never watched any Cranes’ match before.

Some have even courageously confessed in public how his looks tempt them into cheating on their faithful and loving husbands.
A one Kabaseke Lilian who works with one of the telecommunications company in Uganda posted on social media saying: “Just when I thought I was going to be faithful to my dear husband even in thoughts and dreams, Uganda Cranes comes in with a temptation. This man will make me support footaball….. Sometimes you look at a man like this and then look at others and wonder whether they were created by the same God……”

Her partner in crime, Barbara Among, a journalists seems to agree with her as she also posted on her wall asking: “Ladies, have you seen the new Cranes’ coach?”
To land the Cranes job, Desabre beat three other contenders who were on the final list of four.
He has signed a three-year contract with the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA), at a gross monthly salary of US$25,000 (about Shs89 million).

Uganda will be his first national team to coach in life but he has a wealth of experience with club football in France and Africa.
He started coaching duties with French side ESC Rocheville as assistant and later head coach between 2004 and 2010.
In Africa, Desabre has coached at ASEC Mimosas (Cote D’Ivoire), Coton Sport Garoua (Cameroon), ES Tunis (Tunisia), Clube Recreativo Desportivo Libolo (Angola), Dubai Club (United Arab Emirates4), JS Saoura (Algeria), Wydad Athletic Club (Morocco) and lately Ismaily in Egypt.

The immediate duty with Uganda Cranes will be to assemble and prepare a formidable team for the 2018 CHAN Championship in Morocco where Uganda Cranes is pooled in Group B alongside Zambia, Cote D’Ivoire and Namibia.
He joins the long list of foreign coaches to have handled the Uganda Cranes. Some of the other non-Ugandans include; Burkhard Pape, Westerhoff Otto, Harrison Okagbue, Pedro Pasculi, Mohammood Abbas, Laszlo Csaba, Robert ‘Bobby’ Williamson and lately Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredejovic.
However, none of these attracted the ladies’ attention like Desabre.

From us Sqoop, we would like to wish Sebastien Desabre good luck in his new endeavours.
