Bobi Wine… Oops sorry, Hon Robert Kyagulanyi, has cleared the way and now we know why rapper Navio has been trying to up his Luganda game. Just when we thought dude was learning the language as a way of trying to get mileage on the local music scene, we are hit by this news.
Well, rumour is that the Daniel Kigozi has expressed intentions to run for parliament as leader of Rubaga Division come 2021. The Njogereza singer, who currently resides in Lubowa, grew up in Rubaga where his mother has lived for about 40 years.
The singer’s mother is a popular woman but we are not sure if this will work in Navio’s favour, considering he will be facing off with Moses Kasibante, who is a crowd puller. But like they say, we will cross that bridge when we get there. As for us, we cannot wait to see some hotness on the floor of Parliament…. Hon. Daniel Kigozi!
