Two weeks ago, Sqoop ran a story on the fresh faces in the modeling industry. One of the girls we featured was 17-year-old Sarah Aliet signed to Joram Model Management. Now news reaching our desk is that Aliet is going outside countries where she will continue to pursue her modeling career. She will be in South Africa signed under Fusion Model Management with whom she signed a three-year modeling contract. The agency is the same that signed Patricia Akello, who is now based in New York.
Upon receiving the news, Aliet who is currently on in her Senior Six holiday broke down in tears, thanking God for such an incredible blessing and promised to work hard to follow the footsteps of other notable international Ugandan models.
The dark skinned petite model who has previously walked for Kampala Fashion Week in 2015 and 2016 respectively stands at 5’11 feet. She leaves for South Africa in the next four months. Congratulations Aliet. Go make us proud!
