We are still not yet sure why they decided to get married in Masaka but that is none of our business. Our business though is that Tendo Tabel, commonly known as Titie Tabel, a TV and radio presenter has a few hours ago walked down the aisle with his fiancée Deo Serunjoji in a ceremony that attracted hundreds of people.
Serunjonji and Titie’s relationship became a public affair after Titie ended her long relationship with Katongole, also a renowned TV presenter.
She alleges that Katongole had always cheated on her and that enough was enough. The last nail was when the former Bukedde TV presenter was arrested after it was alleged that he had slept with an underage girl two years ago.
With all those allegations, Tabel decided to put an end to their relationship and start a new one with Deo Serunjoji who decided to propose to her on stage at Theater Labonita.
This was during her ‘Tebyansala’ album launch and the proposing was right in front of Katongole who was the emcee of the concert in May last 2016.
An introduction followed in August that same year before a wedding date was set for this year which has just happened.
Social media exposes secret wedding
Meanwhile, this was supposed to be a secret wedding organisers never wanted journalists to be part of the big day however they were betrayed by social media.
The vocalist officially took Mr Tadeo Sserunjoji as her husband in a service which took place at Masaka Pentecostal Church (MPC) just a stone throw from the famous Club Ambiance.
Photos taken by guests who gained access to the church, including singer Kazibwe Kapo who was the best man, rocked different social media platforms breaking the holiday boredom also receiving positive and negative comments.
As the social media talked roamed, more uninvited guests slowly started to access the church although many arrived as the two-hour service had ended and the couple had left.
From church, the newlyweds went to hotel Brovad for picture moments before they drover to Kalisizo’s only hotel known as Nabisere where the reception was.
For the record, this is the second time lady Titie has walked down the aisle with the first having been in 2010 when she married Denis Katongole alias Katongole Omutongole Beat FM and Delta TV presenter whom she left last year.
