A few days ago, we wrote that a committee has been set up to look at all options of finding money to cater for the medical bills of music producer Danz Kumapeesa who is still in the intensive care unit at Nsambya hospital.
Apart from Rema Namakula’s Shs4million contribution, the committee hasn’t received enough money to cater for even a quarter of what is needed and it’s on that note that events host Andrew Kyamagero, has come up with an initiative of organising a car wash fundraising drive that he hopes will yield something.
“It has come to a point when Danz Kumapeesa’s family has given up. They have run out of money and few people are responding to our cry of sending something on the mobile number the jahlive committee passed out. It’s because of this that friends like us can’t just sit there and let one of our own lose this battle. He’s a young, awesome producer who deserves a second chance and it’s us to give him that second chance,” Andrew Kyamagero said.
The car-wash fundraising drive will be happening on July 1st at Panamera bar where big trucks like lorries and buses will be washed for Shs100,000, small cars for Shs50,000 and bikes for Shs30,000.
