Chaka Demus and Pliers might not come… too

A few weeks ago, Comedian Patrick Salvador Idringi together with his team called a Press Conference to announce his upcoming event called The International Culture and Music Festival. The good news that came from the press conference was that Trevor Noah and Jamaican artistes Chaka Demus and Pliers were going to be part of the show.
And although Ugandans on Twitter blackmailed Trevor Noah into visiting sometime soon after he refuted claims that he was coming, he mentioned nothing about performing at Salvado’s event.
And before we could get over the Trevor Noah heartbreak, Tshaka Mayanja went around digging about Chaka Demus and Pliers for us.
Commenting on a Facebook post, Tshaka who talks directly to the raga duo, said they had no idea they were booked for a show in Uganda.
“I talk to Chaka Demus almost every week, I didn’t hear anything from him like coming to Uganda,” he said.
Salvado, who was following the post, did not seem settled and he rushed to say he was working with Ali Alibhai to bring the artistes. So who’s fooling who? Salvado, just bring Maddox, we will come.
