Maddox is one artiste who has been used to gathering crowds. Every time it has been announced that he is going to perform, people come in big numbers despite the fact that he has no new music after releasing two albums that date back 15 years ago.
The artiste has for been performing during other people’s shows but on Good Friday, he will have a one-man show at Imperial Royale for a fee of 50k per person and 1M for a table table.
Titled ‘The return of the champion’, Maddox’s show is going to be the second in his career. The first was his return to Uganda at the beginning of 2001 which registered a huge turn-up.
The ‘Namagembe’ artiste has been performing at different shows like ‘Roast and Rhyme, but he’s been on the stage for not more than 20 minutes. For the upcoming show that is happening next month, he is expected to perform for close to two hours and sing all his songs on his two albums.
