New kids: You will probably recognise from their Nkwagala collaboration with Maro. The B2C trio are a new breed of artistes trying to make a name on the entertainment scene. With their new record label, which they owe for their fast-rising name, the artistes say they are ready to take the industry by storm.

Bobby Lash
Peterson Ssali, aka, Bobby was a big fan of Bobby Valentino growing up so he decided to take up the singer’s first name for his stage alias. He, however, has no explanation for the Lash part of his name.
The 23-year-old is a son to Peter Ssali and Ssali Nabukenya. He went to Lwagula Primary School, Crested Secondary School and did a Bachelors in Social Works and Social Administration at Kyambogo University.

Delivad Julio
His real name is Julius Kassaga but he chose to use Delivad on stage because he believes he was delivered from every evil. The graduate of Information Science at Kyambongo University was born in 1992 to the late Godfrey Katerega and Justine Kisakye. He attended Luwafu Junior School and Crested Secondary School.

Mr Lee
Richard Mugisha aka Mr Lee says his name stands for Left Every Evil. The 24-year-old went to Buganda Road Primary School, Crested Secondary School and Kyambogo University, where he completed a Bachelors in Management Science. He is a son to Joseph Mugisha and Beatrice Mugisha.

The trio linked up in secondary school but embarked on commercial music last year and are doing a blend of Afro-beat, RnB and Pop. The talented trio signed a five-year contract with Andy Events Management. The record label is behind their recordings, video shoots, music promotions, booking shows, among other things.
B2C already has a variety of songs and collaborations, including Wansesera, So Fly, Ontanudde, Tokigeza, Nkwagala alongside Maro, Ebyokunwa and African bBeauty featuring Tip Swizzy.

The singers have also been privileged to perform on big platforms such as at the KCCA city festival, Club mega fest, the Purple Party and other shows organised in different clubs and concerts. The trio has an unplugged show in December this year at a venue they are yet to disclose.

They say investing in music in the beginning was their only challenge but since they signed with Andy Events, everything is okay now.

“We faced a challenge of financing our career since we did not have any source of income but ever since Andy Events bailed us out, all we have to do is release good music.”
The trio add that they are greatly inspired by artistes such as Sauti Sol and Eddy Kenzo whose success stories in music they admire.
