Namagembe video was not ready for release – Madoxx’s manager.

While some people may already be praising the Namagembe video, other critics say the video that was released early this week is meh.
One thing for a fact though is that the entertainment industry was caught by surprise when the Namagembe video was released. The surprise on the other side was on the artiste, Madoxx, and his manager, who say they were also caught off guard.
According to our source, Madoxx and his management never expected the video out. “This was not the appropriate time to release the video because it is not yet ready. There were some components missing,” Madoxx’s manager said.
Indeed, the video seems half-backed as most scenes are mugshots, and it seems to lack a script.
Madoxx, arguably Uganda’s best reggae artiste, had never shot any video for his two albums but because his career is being revived after a series of big performances at events such as Qwela Junction, Roast and Rhyme and Blankets and Wine, his management found it necessary to start shooting videos to revive the songs.
