Singers Sheebah Karungi and David Lutalo should be smiling in their hearts and saying it is their year. These two had quite a good 2015; Sheebah is the reigning Hipipo Awards and Zzina Awards Female Artiste of the Year while David Lutalo is the reigning Zzina Awards Male Artiste of the Year and Hipipo Artiste of the year. Aren’t those titles to be proud of?
Well, looks like the titles were only opening doors for these two as the two artistes are now smiling to the bank after signing a one-year deal with Africell, a telecom company. The Nkwatako and Manya singers are now the brand ambassadors of the telecom company’s new promotion which will be running for close to a year.
Among their roles will include, being the face on the billboard adverts and they will also voice the company’s adverts on radios and TVs.
When we tried to reach Sheebah for details on this contract, she did not pick up her phone but David Lutalo showed his gratitude for working with the telecom company and he believes that the partnership will help him reach his fans better with promoting his music.
He, however, refused to reveal the amount of money that was paid to him to be part of the deal as he preferred to keep it a secret.
