Busy Signal to spend a week in Uganda

busy

It’s now a public secret that Jamaican music stars Glendale Goshia Gordon aka Busy Signal and Garfield Delano Spence aka Konshens are due for a musical battle in our banana republic. Konshens and Busy Signal are set to prove their music prowess before their Ugandan fans come August 28 at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

However, while Konshens has been in the country twice, Busy Signal failed to make it on his second visit. Many Ugandans were disappointed. Well, this time round, the organisers including promoters Balam and BK, are not taking anything for granted.
Information on our desk indicates that the organisers were a bit keener while signing Busy Signal’s contract; “We made sure he arrives earlier than his counterpart,” said a source close to the organisers.
The source told us that Busy Signal will land in Uganda on Tuesday, August 25, ahead of the concert slated for Friday August 28. “Busy Signal will stay in Uganda and do some charity work until D-day. He will stay in the country and enjoy the Pearl of Africa until Monday August 31 when he will fly out,” the source told us.
If this is anything to go by, then our artistes surely need no further alerts; they should just rush to the nearest studio and prepare beats and lyrics for collabos with the Jamaican star and hope that he doesn’t keep his signal busy when they call.
