We have it on good authority that one of the major causes of the breakup between singer Mowzey Radio and former manager Jeff Kiwanuka was associating with Hi Table bar owner Simon Rusoke aka Simo.
A few years ago, the Good Lyfe Crew hosted a weekly theme party at Hi Table every Monday. However, Jeff, Radio and Weasel fell out with Simo and they did not return to Hi Table. The breakup was rumoured to be based on disrespect on Simo’s part, while Simo said Jeff was misleading the boys with his reckless demands.
Simo’s argument could be seen later as he mended fences with Radio and even partnered with him to start the Wandegeya-based Soldiers Bar. The move is rumoured to have been a major lubricant in Jeff and Radio’s recent fall out.
To cement their relationship with Simo, Radio and Weasel recently announced their return to Hi Table. The duo have resumed hosting their weekly Monday parties at the Kampala Road based hangout.
However, some critics suspect the duo’s return to Hi Table is a way of frustrating rival camp Team No Sleep’s new Drunken Love theme night that is also held every Monday at Laftaz Lounge.
