Bimp the nice guy that came to stop conflict when people fought and always helped tuck in the ladies when they were wasted was evicted from the house last Sunday. So was Angelo, the cool guy with long dreadlocks that is good at dancing. The two talked to Brenda Banura about their BBA experience and who they think deserves the grand prize.

What is the weirdest thing about BBA house?
Entering the house for the first time is very weird. I walked in and I didn’t know anyone. It was the first time I was in a place and I didn’t know even one person. I didn’t know what to do, who to talk to and what to say. I felt very vulnerable.
Which housemate did you find weird?
Uganda’s Denzel. I found him weird especially in the first days. I didn’t get the fact that he loved to stay in his briefs all day. I don’t know anyone who does that, so I found him weird.
What is the weirdest thing you did while in the house?
I did so many weird things. The weirdest might be going to the toilet to do a number two and wondering out loud whether Africa was going to be watching me as I went on with that business.
How did you manage to maintain your dreadlocks while in the house?
We were not allowed to carry hair products so I had to work with only conditioner. It was not enough so it was really hard to maintain the hair but there was nothing I could do about it.
Isn’t it too much work to have hair as long as yours?
No it isn’t. In fact it is short dreadlocks that are hard to maintain. When long, the hair easily locks.
You were always dressed in shorts and vests, do you have a thing for that dress code?
I love being in shorts and vests because I like being outdoors, going to the beach and stuff like that. I also find trousers so uptight, which I am not. It is shorts that show my character.
Did hooking up with Beverly affect the way you ended up playing the game?
I hooked up with Beverly towards the end of game, so it didn’t affect me. It would have affected me if it happened at the beginning. Also, even though she wanted to be with me all the time, I made sure that I spent enough time with other housemates so that we don’t isolate each other.
Who do you think doesn’t deserve to win the money?
Elikem doesn’t deserve to win the money because he is self-centered and arrogant. He is not someone that Africa should look up to. Someone like Melvin who is humble should win because Africa can learn and benefit from him.
What do you think of the way Africa is voting?
I think it is very unpredictable but Africa should vote for someone that represents Africa best and can be looked up to and not according to the country they come from.

Which female housemate did you fancy?
It is more like admiration and that is Dillish because she is obviously beautiful. She has a nice body and she is a sweet and caring person.
Who do you think deserves to win the money?
Everybody deserves to win the money but it is Melvin that I would like to see win the money.
Which housemates do you think should have been part of the top five?
It is difficult to say because then I would say everyone that I found interesting and they are more than five. I like the people in house right now. All deserve to be there.
What is the most challenging thing about being the head of house?
Saving someone and replacing them with another person is the hardest thing. Putting someone on the chopping board is hard especially because you can’t save them after that and it comes off like you don’t like them even if that is not the case.
Do you think coupling makes people easy targets when it comes to nominations?
Yes it does. This is because when you hook up, the natural thing is to spend more time together and this excludes you from other housemates. And when housemates don’t feel close to you, they easily nominate you.
What do you think was the best addition to this season’s BBA?
I think joining us with fake housemates from the Emerald house was the best addition. It is amusing that Biggie could actually get people to come in and pose as housemates.
