Chamili gets Ronnie Stamina on big stage

Ronnie Julian’s breakthrough was his catchy dance moves in Eddie Kenzo’s 2010 hit Stamina music video! However, Ronnie who permanently took on the moniker Stamina to form a stage name Ronnie Stamina has been trying to develop his own music career.

Ronnie Stamina currently has a duet with little-known Elie Cham, a Luganda rendition of popular 80s Zangalewa hit! But that’s not the news, the news is for the first time, Ronnie Stamina performed on a big international stage, thanks to singer Jose Chameleone. Chameleone travelled with Ronnie for the Viva Africa Festival that was held at Festival Park in Dubai on December 6.

The festival, which is the biggest African festival held in the Middle East attracted other African big names including D’Banj ( Nigeria), Freshly Ground ( South Africa), Gossaye Tesfaye (Ethiopia), Red San ( Kenya), Castro (Ghana) and Leanne (South Africa). Yet the list is not over yet, the show was hosted by Nigeria’s Basket Mouth! That Ronnie shared a stage with the above stars was a dream come true!

Chameleone did not tell us whether Ronnie had left Kenzo’s Big Talent and joined his Leone Island crew but he posted a photo of him and Ronnie on stage and commented; “I’ll keep helping, I won’t stop … but they will keep turning on me after!”
