He recently laughed off tabloid reports that the comedy industry in Uganda was not doing well. And after an exclusive chat earlier this week, we now know why comedian Patrick Idringi aka Salvado laughed off the reports. He told us that him and two other members of the Crackers comedy outfit were invited for two mega comedy shows in Nigeria. Salvado, Cotilda Inapo and Daniel Omara aka Odoch, will be performing in Abuja and Port Harcourt in Nigeria over Christmas.
“Everything is ready. We’ll fly out on December 22 and we’ll return shortly before New Year’s Eve,” Salvado said. But that’s not all about Salvado’s Naija connections; the comedian also revealed that he had received several invitations to act in Nollywood. “I’m going to take time and review the different companies that have given me contracts when I go to Nigeria in December. But I’m sure, my first Nigerian movie project will be sometime early next year,” Salvado told us. All the best Salvado!
